October 23 was a very special day for numerous employees from Penzinghof. In the presence of Peter Seiwald, chairman of the Kitzbühel Chamber of Commerce and member of the regional parliament, 14 employees were honored for their loyalty and commitment.
First and foremost are Christine Lindner senior, who built up the Penzinghof with her husband Stefan, who has since passed away. She was honored for her 50 years of service.
Her sister-in-law Barbara Buter-Lindner has been working at the Penzinghof for the same length of time, and for many years she was extremely popular with guests as a competent restaurant manager. On the one hand, she was also honored for 50 years of service; at the same time, “Godi”, as everyone calls her, is now entering her well-deserved retirement.
The fact that it is good to work at Penzinghof is demonstrated by other employees who were honored for their many years of service, their commitment and their loyalty to their employer. These are:
- Simone Wieser, receptionist, 12 years
- Georg Lindner, hotel assistant, 20 years
- the good fairy of the house Silvia Düregger (23 y.)
- Zora Stankovic Chambermaid (18 y.)
- Iza Waliczek Chambermaid (17 y.)
- Aysel Aslan Chambermaid (15 y.)
- Hanife Yildiz Chambermaid (10 y.)
- Katrin Nothdurfter, Patisserie (10 y.)
- Jozef Karsai, dishwasher (12 y.)
- Annett Just, waitress in the inn (14 y.)
- Kathrin Aigner, waitress at the Liftradl (12 y.)
- Christine Rudolf, waitress at the Liftradl (11 y.).
With these honors and the associated evening of honor, the current hostess Christine Lindner Jr. thanked her team and especially these long-time employees.
Peter Seiwald also expressed his thanks on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce, emphasizing that an economy can only function if there is good interaction between employers and employees, as is obviously the case at the Penzinghof.
