ÖSV Slalom Team
A haven of peace for the World class ski racer! For many years now, the ÖSV technical team has been staying at the Penzinghof in Oberndorf during the Hahnenkamm Week. Recently the team trained in Going and of course they took the opportunity to regenerate at the Penzinghof again after the training.
The slope in Going is always specially prepared for slalom and giant slalom specialists, after which it is roughened up again so that no would-be racers can injure themselves there. “It doesn’t always have to be the big ski resorts where we train. And we now have a friendly relationship with this house here and with the Lindner family,” says coach Marco Pfeifer.
“You can only perform when you feel good,” explained Olympic champion Johannes Strolz. With him Fabio Gstrein, Michael Matt, Marco Schwarz, Simon Rueland and Dominik Raschner enjoyed the two training days before the next race in Flachau.
